Pakistan held nerves in First One Day against Sri Lanka

Pakistan won the first one day international against Sri Lanka at Sharjah, it was close contest but the Pakistan bowlers held their nerves.
The match was started in afternoon and Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat over flat wicket, openers started well, Ahmed Shahzed lost his wicket early. Mohammad Hafeez the vice captain of Pakistan team came on wicket and enjoyed the partnership with the new talented opener Sharjeel Khan. Hafeez played an inning to shut the mouth of his critics, he played beautiful inning of 122 and helped the Pakistan to reach total of 322.

Sri lanka reply in 2nd inning was also impressive and once again the openers provided the plate forum for late order, Perera scored brisk 64 and Chandimal also played well for his 46 runs. Sri Lanka order shown fight, Parsanna and Senanayake batted tremendously and made quick forty's. 
The bowling from both sides was  not impressive, both team bowlers struggled to stop boundaries, overall the Sharjah wicket was completely batting paradise and batsmen played all around the ground. Pakistan spinners sealed victory for Pakistan, Saeed Ajmal, Mohammad Hafeez and Shahid Afridi bowled well.
