The Protugal and Real Madrid player Cristiano Ronaldo won the FIFA player of the year 2013 mafter 4 long years, he never won this award since 2008.
Ronaldo beat the Barcelona FC striker Lionel Messi who was also favorite for this year award and the Frank Ribery (Bayern Munich).
Ronaldo got 1365 points, Messi got 1205 points and Ribery got 1127 points from the coaches, national captains and from the world media.
Messi who was remained FIFA player of the year for four consecutive years, this year Ronaldo scored 66 goals and shown brilliant performance from his national football team Potugal in world cup qualifiers.
