Supreme court of Pakistan granted permission to Election commission of Pakistan for re-schedule the local government elections.
Election commission of Pakistan (ECP) plea in the Supreme court was to change the schedule of local government elections accepted due to need of amendment in local bodies elections.
ECP Secretary Ishtiaq Ahmed told media that Sindh and Punjab governments will amend the local governments bill after that the schedule will be announced.
